Inhalt

The eighth workshop of our digital youth exchange will treat the topic of children’s rights. Our speaker this week is Sinem Sefa Bayraktar. As a human rights consultant, she will introduce why children working in seasonal migratory agricultural activities in Turkey is one of the worst forms of child labour. Questions that will be answered throughout the workshop are: Who are the children working in agriculture, what exactly are they doing, how are their living and working conditions? What impact does their gender have? Which of their rights are being violated? Finally, we explore what can be done to improve their condition – by both policy-makers and by everyone of us in our role as consumers.
